Sejarah Tas Hermes 

SEJARAH TAS HERMES
Pertama kali branded Hermes di bangun oleh keluarga Hermes yang merupakan penganut protestan di German dan menetap di Prancis pada tahun 1828. Pada tahun 1837 Thierry Hermes (1801-1878) pertama kali mempublikasikan merek hermes pada publik di The Grands Boulevards of Paris, yang di dedikasikan untuk purveying bangsawan Eropa. Dia membuat produk tas terbaik sehingga memperoleh pujian oleh pemerintah pada tahun 1855 karena telah memenangkan exposition universelle di paris. Dan juga pada tahun 1867 Branded Hermes kembali meraih mendali emas pada kontes tersebut.

Anak dari keluarga Hermes, Charles-Emile hermes(1835-1919) mengambil alih manajemen dari ayahnya kemudian berpindah toko pada tahun 1880 ke Rue Faubourg Saint Honore, selama di pegang oleh Charles, Branded Hermes teru-menrus mengalami peningkatan dengan di perkenalkanya tas Courroies a haut pada tahun 1900 yang khusus di rancang untung pengendara yang membawa pelana.

Setelah Charles-Emile  Hermes pensiun dari perusahaan, anak-anaknya Adolphe dan Emile Maurice mengambil alih kepemimpinan dan merubah nama perusahaan menjadi Hermes Freres. pada tahun 1914, mereka memperkerjakan sampai 80 pengrajin sehingga memperoleh hak eksklusif untuk menggunakan ritsleting untuk produk kulit dan pakaian. Kemudian ia menjadi orang pertama yang membuat produk dengan ritsleting di prancis. Sepanjang tahun 1920, Emile-Maurice menjadi kepala tunggal Hermes  Freres dan menambah koleksi aksesoris baru. kemudian pada tahun 1924, istri dari Emile-Maurice mengeluh karena ia tidak menemukan produk hermes yang dia inginkan sehingga dia membuat Array Tas.

Pada tahun 1930,  Hermes memasarkan produk mereka ke amerika serikat dengan menawarkan produknya di sebuah department store Marcus Neiman di new York, dan setelah itu hermes membuat parfum pertama yaitu d'Eau Hermes pada tahun 1949. Setelah Emile-Maurice wafat, kepemimpinan di ambil alih oleh Robert Dumas-Hermes yang bukan keturunan asli dari keluarga hermes melainkan hanya mempunyai ikatan perkawinan dengan salah satu keluarga hermes. Pada tahun 1960, Hermes kembali memasuki pasar AS dengan menawarkan dasi sutra yang di pasarkan di Neiman Marcus Store. Sampai saat ini Hermes sangat di gandrungi oleh semua wanita dari umur 17 sampai 50 tahun di seluruh dunia, dan tidak mustahil kalau Hermes akan bertahan hingga 500 tahun kedepan. Tas Branded Hermes yang pertama kali di publikasikan pada tahun 1837 hingga saat ini tetap bisa bertahan dan bahkan semakin bertambah maju.
