Louis Vuitton Summer 2013 Monogram Neverfull Floral Ikat
This time of year is a confusing time in fashion we've just seen the Fall Winter shows, dissected all the looks and made our fantasy shopping lists but those don't come out for at least another six months and I for one are certainly not wishing the summer away; perhaps it's time to turn our attention back to warmer and brighter days hopefully just around the corner, I couldn't think of a better way to do this than by taking a look at the Louis Vuitton Summer Collection 2013.
The Summer Collection is separate to both the Runway and Resort Collections and is something that has stealthily gained popularity in the last few years, this years Summer collection introduces a stunning Floral Ikat print in a selection of three colours: Rose Indien, Grand Bleu and Rose Velours.
Since the Summer 2013 Collection is a little larger than in previous years and covers a wider variety of materials I'm going to break it up into various posts to focus on the differing elements, for today's post we'll take a look at the Classic Neverfull with a twist.
The Monogram Neverfull quickly established it's self as a must have bag and has been re-invented a number of times since it's release, it's newest make over see the Vachetta handles and details replaced with colourful leather and it's traditional striped lining replaced with the summery Floral Ikat. The exterior of the bag has been silk screen printed with the colour matched Articles De Voyage logo. This release has all the makings to be the most popular Neverfull variation to date since the only real concern with the easy going Neverfull is the water sensitive vachetta with those replaced in a bright, carefree coloured leather it really is your perfect go to summer bag.
